It offers time-tracking and invoicing features to help legal professionals accurately monitor and bill for services. It also allows clients to securely pay for legal services online or through a mobile app, while also helping law firms stay compliant with trust accounting rules and regulations.

Yes, the QuickBooks integration is available for LawPay. Simply connect your QuickBooks Online account to your LawPay account. Your transactions will be automatically uploaded no later than the following day for simple reconciliation
Our platform offers military-grade data encryption and meets industry standards for internet security and PCI Level 1 compliance. In addition, the platform receives quarterly scans and an annual audit from a qualified security assessor. You can read more about our security here.
LawPay helps your firm separate earned and unearned fees and prevent any third-party debits from your IOLTA account. You choose which account funds are deposited to. Learn more here.

Payment FAQ
You can accept debit cards, credit cards, eCheck, and legal fee financing.
Yes, you can add a payments button to your website so your clients can easily pay.
While no special equipment is required to process payments online, LawPay will be releasing card readers in early 2025. These devices allow your firm to accept client payments in person via mobile wallet, tap, and chip cards.
With our Scheduled Payments feature, you can authorize future transactions to run on any schedule you set. Collect client card information once, then set payments to repeat indefinitely or until a certain amount has been paid.
Credit cards, debit cards, and eCheck transactions are deposited in 2 business days, and fee financing transactions are deposited in 3-5 business days.
Your monthly statements will be emailed to you or available to view within the LawPay dashboard.
There is no maximum payment allotted for LawPay. If you are unsure if your payment is too large, contact our support team and they’ll be able to make sure it gets approved.
You can securely store your clients’ credit card information in the Card Vault feature. We do not have access to your clients’ credit card information.
LawPay does not charge for refunds. Charges or unearned fees are easily returned to the cardholder based on the original transaction.
Billing FAQ
